Western Slope Auto is Hiring a Parts Counter Person Near Vernal, UT
Western Slope Auto currently has an opening in our very busy Parts Department for a Parts Counter Person. Some experience in this position is preferred, but all candidates with the desire to succeed in a high volume customer service environment will be considered.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Take Customer Orders (retail & shop); by listening & clarifying requests
· Complete sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system; obtaining payment; adding purchase to credit account; issuing sales receipts.
· Maintain parts inventory by verifying supplies; and placing orders.
· Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjusting inventory system.
· Maintaining safe environment.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Experience working with an automotive parts inventory computer program helpful but not required
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Strong organization skills, enthusiastic and team oriented
· Must have a basic understanding and standard knowledge of automobiles and their components
· Creative and logical with solving problems that arise, while expressing empathy for customers
· Must have the ability to move about the parts department with or without reasonable accommodation
